“LIVELY REVOLUTION – Heisei Retro de Night” Marked the 4th Anniversary of the Opening of THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI!
Hello! This is the staff of THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI. We would like to tell you about our recent event, “LIVELY REVOLUTION – Heisei Retro de Night,” held on Saturday, September 23 to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the opening of THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI.
The event focused on the “Heisei” era and the retro trends that are now getting popular again. The unique “Heisei Retro” event used energetic music and delicious food to transform THE LIVELY into an exciting and unforgettable blast to the past.

～Music～
Nine DJs played all genres of music from the early to mid-Heisei period, which made guests in their thirties to fifties nostalgic for their youth. It was a huge party with singing, dancing and drinking!

Yu-KaI ／ DJ Nakamaro ／ DJ FU-CHI ／ DJ Genzoe
The excitement then culminated into a surprise champagne tower!
～Food and Drink～
For food, the three THE LIVELY hotels arranged regional specialities from Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka, where the hotels are located, and also sold limited-edition menus reminiscent of “Heisei Retro” that used the styles of the restaurants and bars within the hotels! The food and beverage team members at each hotel created their own special dishes for the occasion.
◆Fukuoka … “Mentaiko Ramen” combining two Fukuoka specialities / popular hotel sweet “Oreo Tiramisu”
◆Osaka … “Nikkufuru” made from pressed steamed meat buns and served with truffle-scented sauce in a waffle style popular in the Heisei era
◆Tokyo: “Nata de Coco” and “Tapichai” cocktails created by THE LIVELY’s top bartenders.
All five line-ups were super popular and sold out!
～Spray Art～
Osaka artist Sii painted “Glittering and Rugged: Spray Art Depicting the “Heisei Era,” a Time When New and Lively Things Energized Society” on the walls of the first floor of the building. The Tamagotchi and other nostalgia-filled drawings made for a good photo spot.
～Games～
A video game console, which was popular around the year 2000, appeared at the entrance on the first floor! Guests who are used to playing games on modern game stations struggled a lot, but everyone went back in time to their childhood and became competitive against each other.
～DECO&Polaroid Photos～
At the Polaroid booth, we decorated our own photos with the nostalgic glitter stickers we used to put on our pencil boxes and mobile phones when we were in elementary school! We repped Heisei Gyaru culture in 2025. On the day of the event, we decorated not only our polaroid photos, but also our faces!
