This month, our ever-popular “Rooftop Movie Night” returns on August 22! Feel the warm summer breeze as you watch a film on our open-air rooftop, with all-you-can-drink beverages and food to enjoy along the way. Each month, our staff hand-picks a movie to match a seasonal theme, and this special event runs only through spring and summer.
High schoolers and younger pay just 500 yen! It’s an easy, laid-back way to enjoy a summer movie night with family or friends. And of course, if you’d like to come on your own, you’re more than welcome too.
There are only two events left this year — one in August and one in September. Your chances to enjoy this one-of-a-kind summer experience are running out fast.

August Film: Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (Japanese dub)
This month’s feature is Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle — a thrill-packed, laugh-out-loud adventure that’s perfect for the summer holidays.
The Story
While serving detention at school, four high schoolers stumble upon an old video game called “Jumanji.”
The moment they start playing, they’re sucked right into a jungle world, each transformed into the character they chose.
But this jungle is full of wild beasts and dangerous enemies. To make it back to the real world, they’ll have to team up, make the most of their limited lives, and take on one mission after another. And so the adventure begins!
What to Watch For
The biggest highlight of the film is the hilarious back-and-forth between the high schoolers, who now find themselves as characters completely opposite to their real selves. A star-studded cast — Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black — comically play grown-up bodies with teenage hearts, delivering one laugh-out-loud scene after another.
Don’t miss the game world’s clever, quirky rules, the fast-paced storytelling, and the powerful action sequences either. It’s a refreshing, feel-good piece of entertainment that everyone can enjoy, young and old alike.
