【Azabujuban Noryo Festival 2026】Cool Down at THE LIVELY While Enjoying the Festival!
THE LIVELY TOKYO AZABUJUBAN is joining the Azabujuban Noryo Festival, taking place on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, 2026.
This will be our fourth year taking part in the festival. Along with our food and drink stand in front of the hotel, we’ll once again open part of the hotel to guests who purchase food and drinks from our festival booth, giving you a place to take a break from the summer heat.
Last year, the Azabujuban Noryo Festival welcomed around 300 vendors, including local businesses from the Azabujuban Shopping Street, municipalities from across Japan, and foreign embassies. Around 300,000 people attended over the two-day festival, making it one of the highlights of summer in Azabujuban.
Last year also marked our first attempt to open the hotel’s 2F lounge during the festival. With a DJ providing the soundtrack, the lounge offered a cool indoor spot where festival-goers could take a break from the crowds while enjoying food and drinks. We also served drinks made with freshly squeezed fruit, creating a festive atmosphere indoors as well.
This year, we’re taking things a step further by opening LIVELY KITCHEN, a larger space with more seating than the lounge. Usually used as our breakfast venue, LIVELY KITCHEN will transform into a comfortable place where festival-goers can cool down and relax after picking up food and drinks from our booth.
The indoor drink lineup will also feature fresh fruit sours, just like last year. The fruit is freshly squeezed right in front of you, so you can enjoy both the fresh taste and the lively experience of watching your drink being made.
Whether you’re stopping by for a refreshing drink, taking a break to plan where to head next, or simply chatting with fellow festival-goers, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the space.
For hotel guests, our usual 5:00–6:00 PM free beer hour in the lounge will move to LIVELY KITCHEN during the festival. During the same time slot, guests can enjoy free-flow service of most of the drinks on offer that day.
The Azabujuban Noryo Festival has been a beloved summer tradition in this historic neighborhood for many years. As people gather in Azabujuban over these two days, THE LIVELY TOKYO AZABUJUBAN hopes to add to the festival experience while offering a different way to enjoy the festivities from within the hotel.
