“The Re:Boot” — A Summer Experience Open to Everyone


This summer, THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA is launching a limited-time seasonal event called “The Re:Boot” — a concept built around giving yourself a small but meaningful reset during the hottest months of the year.

Through both food and atmosphere, The Re:Boot is designed as a space where you can step away from the heat and the noise of everyday life, and come back feeling a little lighter. Whether you’re a guest staying at the hotel or just stopping by, the experience is meant to feel effortless — a casual escape that leaves you ready to take on whatever comes next.

The concept is built around three ideas. “Refresh” is all about cool, chilled sweets and drinks that help you enjoy summer in the most refreshing way possible. “Reset” invites you to slow down, disconnect from the information overload of daily life, and find a moment of calm in the hotel’s distinctive atmosphere. And “Recharge” is about savoring seasonal ingredients and beautiful surroundings in a way that lifts your mood and sends you back into the world feeling good.

More than just a way to beat the heat, The Re:Boot is about making the summer feel like something to look forward to.


“Furupagori” — Fruit Parfait Shaved Ice


At the heart of the limited-time sweets menu is “Furupagori” — a one-of-a-kind hybrid that brings together fruit, parfait, and shaved ice into a single stunning dessert.

Each creation is built with layers of fruit sauce, brown rice flakes, cream, jelly, and vanilla ice cream, all topped generously with fluffy shaved ice. The result is something that’s as beautiful to look at as it is to eat — and as you work your way through it, the textures and flavors shift and evolve with every spoonful.

The shaved ice itself is made from ice frozen slowly over 48 hours or more, producing a crystal-clear, impossibly smooth texture. Air bubbles and impurities are carefully removed during the freezing process, leaving behind ice that melts on the tongue almost instantly. Served alongside each dessert is a milk syrup made with yogurt and condensed milk from Ito Monogatari, a beloved brand from Itoshima in Fukuoka Prefecture. Its gentle tang and creamy richness round out the flavors and keep every bite interesting to the very last.

Made with generous amounts of yogurt from Itoshima’s beloved Ito Monogatari brand, this fruit lassi is rich and indulgent while still feeling light and refreshing. Each version is paired with seasonal fruit that complements the yogurt beautifully, striking just the right balance between fruity sweetness and gentle tang. Add a drizzle of the separately served sauce — a blend of spices and herbs — and the flavor takes a turn toward something a little unexpected: a “sweecey” (Sweet × Spicy) combination that adds depth and keeps things interesting.
