Upon arrival at Shibuya station, the anticipation builds even before you reach the hotel

The first thing you should do is to greet Shibuya’s symbol – the Hachiko statue. This spot is a well-known rendezvous point for Tokyo locals. You’ll be surprised by the number of people meeting here, and you can also take pictures with the adorable Hachiko. If you have plans with friends in Shibuya, we definitely recommend using Hachiko as your meeting point !

After you’ve greeted Hachiko, head straight to the famous “Scramble Crossing” in front of you. This intersection, said to be crossed by over 3000 people at once during peak times, became a symbol of not only Shibuya, but also Japan itself. You cannot truly say you have been to Shibuya unless you cross it, so go ahead and start experiencing the dynamic vibe of Shibuya from here !

Arrival at The Millennials Shibuya!

It takes around a 5-minute walk from the Scramble Crossing to the hotel. Our team of friendly staff members from around the world is eagerly waiting to greet you at the reception on the 4th floor. Whether you’re traveling alone or don’t have an itinerary set yet, we will be happy to assist you making plans and ensure you have a wonderful time. Our team is always happy to engage in conversation, so don’t hesitate to start one!

Don’t miss the hotel’s happy hour from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, during which you can enjoy a complimentary Kirin Heartland draft beer! The lounge is a bustling hub where travelers from various parts of the globe engage in free interactions and build new connections. It’s not unusual for our guests to even venture out for a night out together!

If you’re wondering where to eat, head to Center Gai.

Shibuya is undoubtedly one of Japan’s top dining areas. From traditional Japanese cuisine to dishes from all around the world, you can enjoy a wide range of food options. If you are not set on a place for lunch or dinner yet, head over to the Center Gai, where you can find countless restaurants, pubs, cafes, and dessert shops that cater to your mood at any moment.

If you’re considering heading back to the hotel after enjoying dinner and the cityscape of Shibuya, hold on for a moment ! The night in Shibuya is just getting started

The sleepless city of Shibuya

A great place to visit is Nonbei Yokocho, also known as Drunkard’s Alley (literal translation). It has a nostalgic atmosphere from the Showa era that many people enjoy. With nearly 40 small bars, this alley is a perfect place to enjoy bar hopping. The unique, homely atmosphere, interesting vendors and friendly clientele will make you feel as if you’ve time-traveled back to a different era.

After enjoying sake at the izakaya, head to a nightclub! Shibuya has some of Japan’s largest nightclubs, where you can dance all night long to the latest music. The nightclub “Camelot” is very close to The Millennials Shibuya and offers diverse music across its three floors. There are many other clubs within walking distance our team can recommend, so if you’re interested, feel free to ask the staff!

We hope you enjoyed this Golden Route recommended by The Millennials Shibuya’s staff. Take the opportunity to enjoy everything Shibuya has to offer !
