Important Notice Regarding the Use of Portable Chargers

In recent times, there have been incidents of smoke emission and fires involving portable chargers (including other products containing lithium-ion batteries) both in Japan and abroad.

In order to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask for your cooperation regarding the use of portable chargers in guest rooms, as outlined below.

• Please refrain from charging your portable charger while you are away from the room, such as when going out.
• When charging mobile electronic devices from a portable charger, or when charging a portable charger using the room’s power outlets, please avoid charging in the following locations:
  • Areas exposed to direct sunlight, such as near windows
  • On flammable materials such as beds or sofas
• While charging, please ensure that the portable charger is always within your sight so that you can monitor its condition at all times.
