No Stay Required: THE LIVELY Celebrates 7 Years with Music, Art & Food in Tokyo, Osaka & Fukuoka
On the final day at each property, a free-admission event themed around “Heisei retro” nostalgia will take place, with DJ HASEBE joining as a special guest for Sound Sake Stand.
We’re excited to announce that THE LIVELY, the flagship lifestyle hotel brand under LIVELY HOTELS, will celebrate its 7th anniversary with special events at three properties: THE LIVELY TOKYO AZABUJUBAN, THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI, and THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA.
Event dates and content vary by property.

THE LIVELY — The Flagship Brand of LIVELY HOTELS
At LIVELY HOTELS, our brand concept goes beyond the traditional idea of a hotel as simply a place to sleep. Instead, we focus on delivering “experiential value” — moments that leave guests feeling genuinely refreshed or renewed through their stay. THE LIVELY, our flagship brand, first opened its doors in Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo back in 2019. We reimagined the hotel as a place where people, information, and opportunity converge from around the world, aiming to create a guest experience full of discovery, with something new to find every time you visit. These events aren’t just for overnight guests, either — we welcome locals and anyone curious about the hotel to drop in and explore. Come spring 2027, THE LIVELY will welcome its fourth property in Yuda Onsen, Yamaguchi Prefecture. We look forward to continuing to build new connections with local communities while delivering the kind of experience only THE LIVELY can offer. (Teaser site: “THE LIVELY Yamaguchi“)
Seven Days, All the Best of THE LIVELY: “THE LIVELY 7DAYS”
This year, to celebrate THE LIVELY’s 7th anniversary, we’re hosting a special event called “THE LIVELY 7DAYS” across all three properties in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
Alongside our annual music and art-themed programming, this year’s lineup includes something new: popular experiences that were previously exclusive to overnight guests will now be open to the public, plus limited-edition menu items and more. Through music, art, and food, guests can immerse themselves in the world of THE LIVELY and enjoy a taste of the extraordinary.
With a wide range of programming designed to be enjoyed whether you’re staying the night or not, and seven full days of activities at each property, there’s something for everyone — hotel guests, neighbors, and anyone simply curious about THE LIVELY. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to experience everything that makes THE LIVELY unique.

One Night Only at Each Property: “Heisei Retro Deco-Mori Night” (Free Admission)

Since opening, THE LIVELY has built its identity around four core themes — Design, Music, Art, and Tech — bringing fresh ideas, concepts, and trends to life through both stays and events. On the final night of “THE LIVELY 7DAYS” at each property, we’re throwing “Heisei Retro Deco-Mori Night,” a reinterpretation of the currently trending “Heisei retro” aesthetic through THE LIVELY’s own lens, featuring YonYon as the main DJ, with spatial design by Pakuchi Hitomi and Hayashi Rena. Expect music that defined the Heisei era, décor inspired by the “deco” and “mori” (decorative, maximalist) cultures of the time, and original event-only dishes created by each property’s chef around a “Heisei meets local” theme — an evening where nostalgia and novelty collide.

YonYon
Head of the music label Peace Tree. Beyond her own work, she’s remixed and produced for a wide range of artists, including Miyake Ken, Sakanaction, and even the Tamagotchi theme song, and continues to tour the country spreading love and peace through music.

Pakuchi Hitomi
An artist working primarily in tufting, along with resin, ceramics, and other mixed media.
Her signature “love yourself” logo — carrying the message “love who you are and be happy” — has become her creative trademark. She’s especially known for tufted installations, spatial design, and photo-spot creation, all rendered in her instantly recognizable cute aesthetic, which has earned her a strong following, particularly among women. She also serves as director of her own accessory brand, 89xiiitokyo (Pakuchi Tokyo).

Hayashi Rena
Designer. Completed her master’s degree at Tama Art University Graduate School.
Her main body of work centers on “typoems” — a blend of typography and poetry. She works across disciplines as a creator, from typography-focused apparel collaborations to department store pop-ups and artist artwork, often drawing inspiration from Heisei-era culture.

Each day features a different DJ or artist from the local scene, with special guest DJ HASEBE joining the lineup.
