Hello from HOTEL GRAPHY NEZU!
In August, we will be holding our popular “Rooftop Movie Night” at Hanazono Alley!

At HOTEL GRAPHY NEZU, we usually host our Rooftop Movie Night on the third Saturday of every month during the warmer seasons. Each month, our staff selects a movie, and guests can enjoy it with a variety of all-you-can-drink beverages.
While this event is normally held on our hotel’s rooftop, this time we’ll be hosting it on the rooftop of Hanazono Alley.
Hanazono Alley is located between the University of Tokyo and Tokyo University of the Arts. It was once the company dormitory “Hanazono Dorm” for Akafudado employees. After 50 years, it was renovated into a local community hub supporting next-generation creative projects and teams.
Enjoy a different view than usual while soaking in the summer night breeze, drinks in hand, and a movie under the sky.
This rooftop movie night offers a unique experience that’s different from a regular cinema. Feel free to chat with the person next to you, enjoy your food and drinks, or just relax however you like.
We’ll be screening “Barbie” on Saturday, August 16.
This time’s theme is a movie that makes you feel excited about becoming who you truly want to be.
Let yourself be swept away by the summer vibes and Barbie’s dream-like world.

Hanazono Alley is a creative office space that was reborn in February 2020. It was formerly the Akafudado company dorm “Hanazono Dorm” that supported daily life in Ikenohata for over 50 years.
Now, it serves as a community space that supports new creative teams and projects. It features a café open to locals and visitors alike, and on the 5th floor—the rooftop—you’ll find art projects led by artists and curators who aim to ask new questions to society.
