Playful, artful sweets “TONAKAI”
This Christmas season, three new “TONAKAI” sweets will debut.
These three mousse cakes, inspired by reindeer, have unique, art-like designs. They are filled with the fun of choosing, the wish to gift, and the playful feeling of lining them up. Another key point is the design choice to leave out facial features, giving space for the viewer’s imagination. Vivid, paint-like colors add a seasonal touch and spark lively conversation with your loved ones, creating a heart-lifting Christmas experience.
“Black Sesame × Kinako”: A mousse made with black sesame and bamboo charcoal is decorated with a pattern that looks like a black knit, expressing style and elegance. Inside is a kinako sauce. The rich flavors of black sesame and kinako create a warm, comforting taste. The reindeer antlers, shaped with realistic detail on purpose, add a refined coolness to the playful look.
“Yogurt × Strawberry”: This mousse uses the Itoshima brand yogurt “Ito Monogatari” from Fukuoka Prefecture. It is rich yet smooth. Inside is a sauce made with the sweet-tart Amaou strawberries from Fukuoka, so you can enjoy it to the last bite. The brilliant look, like Christmas illuminations, is also a highlight.
“Matcha × Pistachio”: A slightly bitter Yame matcha mousse holds a rich pistachio sauce inside. The taste balances Japanese and Western flavors, and the refined design looks like a decorated Christmas tree.

Two café drinks
The café drinks bring both the excitement of childhood snacks and the festive sparkle of Christmas. Enjoy the drinks together with the sweets.
“Tiramisu Latte (Iced)” (photo left): Rich iced cocoa topped with cream made with mascarpone cheese. Finished with cocoa powder and chocolate candies.
“White Matcha Latte (Hot)” (photo right): Made with Yame matcha from Fukuoka Prefecture. With one sip, the rich aroma of the tea leaves spreads. Marshmallows and chocolate candies are placed on top of the white chocolate cream.

For Christmas and special days, the cake “GIFT” will appear. It is based on white chocolate mousse and combined with three kinds of jelly: orange, grape, and apple.
The red and white colors bring a Christmas mood, and the jellies shine like illuminations, letting you feel the sparkle of the season. A sleigh decoration made of white chocolate adds the excitement of a gift racing over snowy roads. When you cut the cake, you can also enjoy the thrill of opening a present. It makes time with your loved one even more special. It is the perfect size to share from two people. (Cake size: 5-inch)
