A Night of Music, Art & Flavor: THE FUKUOKA Countdown Party on Dec 31

THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA will host its annual New Year’s Eve countdown event, “THE FUKUOKA,” on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

The night brings together live performances by local artists and cocktails from guest bartender Masahiro Iejou, creating a celebration where music, art, and gourmet flavors blend into one unforgettable evening.

Where music, art, and gourmet experiences come together

This year, the event will once again be free and open to everyone, making it easy for both hotel guests and local visitors to join the festivities.

The program features three main elements: music, art, and food.

Four Fukuoka-based DJs will deliver house-focused sets capturing the pulse of the city’s culture, while local artists perform live calligraphy and painting throughout the night.

For food, guests can enjoy event-exclusive dishes such as Hakata-style mizutaki oden and pork belly skewers. From the bar, guest bartender Iejou will craft cocktails using regional ingredients, along with special creations available only during this event.

The venue is the hotel’s popular, photogenic lounge. Running from 20:00 to 24:30, it’s perfect whether you’re stopping by casually or staying through the countdown.

On the final night of 2025, welcome the New Year in an atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else—where the vibrant energy of Nakasu meets the refined, playful spirit of THE LIVELY. Celebrate with family, friends, or someone special, and enjoy this one-night-only fusion of Fukuoka culture and festive charm.
