[EVENT REPORT] Celebrating our 6th Anniversary at with「LIVELY Y3K DISCO」
In this article, we’re excited to share highlights from our 6th anniversary event, “LIVELY Y3K DISCO,” held on July 26, 2025!
This summer, THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA celebrated its 6th anniversary.
We reached this milestone thanks to everyone who has stayed with us and supported us along the way. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your continued warmth and encouragement.
To mark the occasion, a special anniversary event was held simultaneously across all three THE LIVELY hotels—Tokyo Azabujuban, Osaka Honmachi, and Fukuoka Hakata.
Inspired by a “Y3K” worldview that blends nostalgia with a futuristic edge, the concept was reimagined through THE LIVELY’s distinctive sensibility and fused with the energy of DISCO. The result was a space that felt both vibrant and refined.
Each hotel lounge transformed into the main stage, where guests enjoyed original cocktails crafted by guest bartenders, immersive spatial productions using generative art, and live DJ performances throughout the night.
In this article, we’ve gathered a snapshot of the event as it unfolded. We hope it brings back fond memories for those who joined us—and offers a taste of the atmosphere for those who couldn’t be there.
【DJ】
Our main DJ was techno artist RISA TANIGUCHI, who performs on stages all over the world. She appeared at all three venues in Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo. In addition, DJs who are active locally in Fukuoka also joined, and each one colored the venue with their own unique sound.
【ART】
Starting with the key visuals created by Osaka-based graphic designer Coco Nishi, original art videos by GENERATIVE ART STUDIO inc. were also projected on the back panel of the DJ booth and on the stairway signage. By linking music and art, we created a space where guests could experience the Y3K worldview in a more three-dimensional way.
【FOOD&DRINK】
As a guest bartender, we welcomed popular bartenderMasahiro Ietsune, who runs the YouTube channel “Pro no Osake Juku” (“Professional Liquor School”).
We served four kinds of original cocktails produced by Ietsune for this event only.
Not only were the flavors carefully crafted, but the presentation also included playful and glamorous touches unique to an event like this. Many guests enjoyed them in their own way, including taking videos, which left a strong impression on us.
Original event foods created separately by the chefs of Fukuoka and Osaka: “Y3K Ball” and “Hakata Bite-Size Mizutaki (chicken hot pot).”

Through the various contents that brightened the event—music, art, food, drinks, and more—we hope that each guest was able to enjoy a memorable moment in their own way.
