Event Report: Highlights from “Nakasu Yuen-ya – Fiesta Halloween”

Hello from THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA!
On October 31, 2025, we held “Nakasu Yuen-ya – Fiesta Halloween –”, an immersive Halloween event that blended the vibrant energy of the holiday with the refined atmosphere unique to THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA.
It was a night where guests stepped into an extraordinary world of celebration, art, and entertainment.

This year’s theme combined the elegance of a masquerade ball with the colorful traditions of Día de los Muertos. Guests arrived in masks and black attire, entering a luxurious Mexican-inspired space crafted through a mix of music, art, food, and drinks—each person enjoying their own unforgettable Halloween moment.
■ Food & Drinks

We welcomed Chef Sueyoshi from ESTINATE HOTEL NAHA, known for his innovative “Ryukyu-Mexican” cuisine. For this special evening, he created original tacos and Mexican dishes available only at the event.

Shrimp tacos, beef birria tacos, tsukimi chili con tacos, and more drew long lines throughout the night, and every dish sold out completely.

A highlight of the evening was the Carne Asada fire performance. Each burst of flame drew cheers from the crowd and filled the venue with excitement.

For drinks, in addition to classic Corona, we offered a selection of event-exclusive Mexican cocktails. The smoke-infused drink presentation was a major hit—the dramatic reveal made these cocktails as visually stunning as they were delicious, adding a glamorous touch to the evening.

We also distributed shot-glass lanyards to guests, which sparked spontaneous toasts and natural interaction across the venue.
■ Music

A special DJ booth was set up inside the first-floor bar counter, where 6-EMN, S.SHOWTA, and JAMMY delivered a set centered on Latin house.
Their performance blended seamlessly with the energy of the guests, transforming the entire venue into a single, connected space filled with rhythm and movement.
Bodies swayed, hands lifted, and the dance floor became a lively celebration from start to finish.

■ ART

Artists Tanishu and QP performed live painting throughout the night, expressing the rich and glamorous world of Día de los Muertos in bold, colorful strokes.

As they created their pieces in real time, the artwork, music, and atmosphere merged to form a one-of-a-kind experience—almost as if the entire venue became a single, evolving work of art.

At THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA, we regularly host events designed to bring guests together and spark natural interaction. As “a place where people, information, and opportunities gather from around the world,” we aim to offer stays that go beyond accommodation and become lasting memories.
We hope you’ll join us for our next event.
All of us at THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA look forward to welcoming you again soon.
