An exciting chef’s special Christmas course
For four days only — December 20 (Sat), 21 (Sun), 24 (Wed), and 25 (Thu) — a special Christmas lunch and dinner course will be available.
Prepared by a chef with more than 30 years of experience in French cuisine, each full-course meal is crafted with carefully selected ingredients and a deep passion for flavor. The elegance of classic French cooking, combined with its delicate precision, is sure to captivate your heart and awaken your senses. With every bite, joy and satisfaction unfold, creating a perfect moment worthy of such a special occasion.
To complement the meal, two original Christmas cocktails will also be served, perfectly paired with the courses. In addition, a stay plan is available with the dinner course, allowing you to fully indulge in an unforgettable Christmas night.

<For staying guests only> Christmas cake “Noël de glamour” shining in Bordeaux color, created by the French chef

A crispy, lightly salty butter cookie is used as the base, topped with a sweet and sour mousse subtly flavored with cassis and orange liqueur. On top of that, a cassis jelly with a strong tartness is hidden. Furthermore, a champagne mousse is layered carefully so as not to lose the aroma of the champagne, giving the entire cake a rounded taste. For the finish, a deep Bordeaux-colored cassis purée coating is added to bring all the layers together as one. Inspired by the cocktail “Kir Royal,” this cake, woven from five layers of flavor, is best enjoyed with champagne.

Chef Kohei Nishiura

He trained at restaurants in Kobe, Osaka, and France, and served as head chef at several French restaurants in Osaka City, including the modern French restaurant “La Chic” in Yodoyabashi. Then, in December 2019, he became the head chef of “THE LIVELY KITCHEN OSAKA HONMACHI.” For appetizers in course meals, he provides them as French delicatessen. His cuisine is, of course, based on French, striking a perfect balance between classic and modern, while making use of seasonal ingredients nurtured by Japan’s four seasons and aiming for dishes filled with the life of the ingredients and joy for the heart. Using the sense and knowledge cultivated through his experience, he shares the charm of “casual French” unique to THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI, where French cuisine can be felt closer.
