On the 1st floor of THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI, you’ll find LIVELY KITCHEN—a restaurant where French culinary techniques meet Japanese ingredients and sensibilities. From innovative main dishes to simple, flavor-forward French delicatessen items, every bite is crafted to let the natural ingredients shine.

At our REFRESH STATION event, you can also enjoy a limited selection of bite-sized sweets, specially prepared by our talented French chef. It’s a small treat with big flavor—just the pick-me-up you need!

Chef: Nishiura Kohei

After perfecting his skills in Kobe, Osaka, and France, our chef went on to lead the kitchens of several top French restaurants in Osaka, including the modern French gem La Chic in Yodoyabashi. In December 2019, he joined THE LIVELY KITCHEN Osaka Honmachi as Executive Chef.

With a deep respect for the elegance of French cuisine, he blends classic techniques with a contemporary twist—highlighting the vibrant flavors of seasonal Japanese ingredients. His dishes are designed to surprise, delight, and showcase the natural beauty of each ingredient.

With years of experience and a sophisticated palate, he brings a uniquely approachable take on French cuisine to the table—one that’s stylish, relaxed, and perfectly in tune with the spirit of THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI.
