From December 1 (Mon) to December 25 (Thu), 2025, we will be offering three limited-time Christmas stay plans based on the theme of “JULEHYGGE,” allowing guests to spend a warm and cozy Christmas with their loved ones.

We have prepared a stay plan that lets you experience the cozy, homemade style of “JULEHYGGE” dining in the comfort of your hotel room. This plan includes a Nordic-inspired Christmas dinner delivered to your room at your preferred time. Guests can warm up the dishes using the high-quality toaster provided in every room at UNWIND HOTEL & BAR SAPPORO and enjoy freshly heated Christmas dishes right in their private space.

With room service, you can dine comfortably without worrying about others, enjoy plating your meal on Nordic tableware, or toast and chat while waiting for your dishes to warm up.

In the Nordic region, where both fishing and dairy farming thrive, dishes that combine seafood and dairy products are widely loved.

In Hokkaido, where the first heavy snow of winter arrives in mid-December and the weather turns cold, guests can enjoy this creamy, comforting dish that warms both body and heart—just like in Scandinavia.

■ Roast Pork (with Caramel Potatoes and Grilled Vegetables)

Roast pork is a traditional main dish enjoyed during Christmas across Northern Europe. It’s served with caramel potatoes—a beloved classic dish for special occasions—and colorful grilled vegetables. Enjoy the rich, savory flavor of the pork paired with the sweet-and-salty harmony of caramelized potatoes for a memorable Christmas dinner with your loved one.

■ Cake “Mjuk Pepparkaka”

“Mjuk Pepparkaka,” meaning “soft gingerbread cake,” is a traditional Scandinavian treat made with plenty of warm spices such as cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. For this version, we have added “lingonsylt,” a lingonberry jam essential to Nordic cuisine, into the batter to give it a special UNWIND HOTEL & BAR SAPPORO twist.

Enjoy the gentle aroma of spices and the refreshing tartness of lingonberries for a sweet ending to your Christmas night.
