If you’re thinking, “The weather forecast says it will be sunny tomorrow, where should I go?” or “I want to have a picnic, but preparing is too much work,” why not try “UNWIND PICNIC”, where you can go out easily empty-handed?
“UNWIND PICNIC” is a rental service where a wooden basket is packed with brunch and necessary items perfect for a picnic. The basket contains popular homemade breakfast soup and homemade pulled pork sandwiches from UNWIND, allowing you to easily enjoy a special picnic experience empty-handed.
On the day of your reservation, you can stop by “UNWIND HOTEL & BAR SAPPORO” empty-handed and take the cute wooden basket with you for your outing.
Its adorable appearance is sure to be Instagram-worthy! You can easily enjoy a picnic in nature right in the center of Sapporo.
Last year, it was featured in many media outlets, became hugely popular among women in their 20s and couples, and was enjoyed by over 350 people! In response to your many requests, we have decided to start the service again this year.

“UNWIND PICNIC” accommodation plan
We have also prepared a plan that includes “UNWIND PICNIC,” which was very well-received last year. This plan allows you to go out for a picnic immediately after staying at “UNWIND HOTEL & BAR SAPPORO” in the center of Sapporo. The picnic brunch will be handed over at the front desk.
Your large travel luggage can be kept at the front desk, so you can go out lightly!

Cherry blossoms in Hokkaido come into full bloom from late April to early May. How about cherry blossom viewing under a fully blooming tree? Here are some cherry blossom spots recommended by our staff.
１．Nakajima Park
Nakajima Park is located near UNWIND HOTEL & BAR SAPPORO. You can view the cherry blossoms along with the Hōheikan, which is designated as a National Important Cultural Property. There is also a coffee shop inside Nakajima Park, making it an ideal park for strolling and picnics.
Access: About a 10-minute walk
２．Hokkaido University
The Hokkaido University campus is accessible to the general public and is one of the famous cherry blossom spots. It features various types of cherry trees, mainly Ezo-yamazakura, so you can enjoy different cherry blossoms depending on the location.
Access: About 25 minutes by public transport and walking
The spots introduced here can be enjoyed for their seasonal charm even after the cherry blossom season is over.
