Connecting Through Flowers: 2nd Anniversary Event “GRAPHY FLOWER MARKET”
HOTEL GRAPHY SHIBUYA celebrates its 2nd anniversary on March 1, 2026. To mark this milestone, we’re hosting a special event themed around “flowers”—a symbol of spring’s arrival—called “GRAPHY FLOWER MARKET.”
Since opening, we’ve not only hosted events for our guests and the local community at the hotel but also promoted area management initiatives through “Shibuya Bridge” in partnership with Tokyu Corporation. Through numerous events, we’ve deepened connections with people who gather at both the hotel and Shibuya Bridge. Now, reaching this 2-year milestone, we’re welcoming everyone with diverse content across two areas.
At Shibuya Bridge Building A’s corridor, one of our venues, we’ll hold a market featuring vendors from across Tokyo, along with interactive live painting by internationally acclaimed artist Ayumi Takahashi and live storytelling sessions featuring popular children’s picture books. Inside the hotel, you can enjoy candle-making workshops and event-exclusive restaurant menu items.
This event, like the “social graph” that inspired our hotel’s name, values human connections above all else. We aim to create a space for new encounters and interactions—not only for our regular guests but also for local residents and first-time visitors.

■Live Painting & Exhibition by Ayumi Takahashi
Experience live painting by Ayumi Takahashi, an artist active on the world stage. Watch up close as vibrant spring flowers are painted and brought to life. This event features an interactive session where everyone can add their own brushstrokes to part of the artwork. From children to adults, enjoy this special experience of creating a piece together with the artist. The completed work will be displayed until April 30 (Thu) after the event ends.
Ayumi Takahashi also created the key visual for this event. Her illustrations are featured in the photo booth area throughout the venue, bringing her vibrant sensibility to the entire event.
Ayumi Takahashi
Graduated from Art Center College of Design in California.
An artist/curator based in Japan, the United States, and China.
In addition to her own creative work, she curates exhibitions and produces spatial designs as a curator.
She has collaborated with global brands including Google, Nivea, L’Occitane, Nike, Coca Cola, and Starbucks, creating artwork for advertising, packaging, textiles, and books. She presents her work at galleries and art spaces worldwide, established “Box Museum” gallery in China, and launched the tea brand “Three Gems Tea” in Los Angeles.

A live performance by The Worthless from picture book specialty store [Nijino Picture Book Store], where you can enjoy the world of picture books with songs and live music. Adults are welcome too, so please join us with your children!
