Recommended Terrace Spots in the Daikanyama and Shibuya Area
As the crowds fade and the air turns soft and gentle, the city begins to slow down. It’s that perfect time of year when a simple walk feels refreshing, and the thought of sitting on a terrace with a cool breeze sounds irresistible.
Under the orange glow of the evening sky, chatting over a cold drink or laughing around a table becomes one of those fleeting pleasures unique to autumn — a “terrace moment” that captures the season’s quiet magic.
Today we’d like to share some of our favorite terrace spots around Daikanyama and Shibuya, just a short stroll from our hotel.
■ Garden House Crafts Daikanyama

A short walk from the hotel leads to a small path lined with greenery.
GARDEN HOUSE, born in Kamakura in 2012, is a lifestyle restaurant that proposes food and living under the themes of “Season-inspired” and “Fine-crafts.” The Daikanyama T-SITE location lets you enjoy that worldview in the middle of the city.
Located about five minutes on foot from HOTEL GRAPHY SHIBUYA, it’s a café restaurant surrounded by greenery and bustling with many people from morning to night, offering a pleasant mix of wooden warmth and openness.

One of the charms of the Daikanyama location is its morning menu starting at 8:30 a.m.
Light breakfast options line the menu, centered around homemade bread, including egg plates, granola bowls, and seasonal soups.
Enjoying these with coffee at a terrace seat surrounded by greenery feels like a moment taken right out of a Kamakura morning. It’s the breakfast to start the day!

The bakery offers country bread baked with carefully selected flour and homemade yeast, as well as savory breads filled with seasonal ingredients.
A recommended item is the “Salt Butter Melon Bread.”
Organic butter melts inside, with a crispy exterior and fluffy brioche dough inside.
You can enjoy freshly made bread baked in the café.

The salt butter melon bread, recommended to be eaten within one hour of purchase, is extremely popular! Please try it too!

With the themes of “Season-inspired” and “Fine-crafts,” you can enjoy menus and baked sweets made with seasonal ingredients.
Originally a brand born in Kamakura in 2012, it now has seven locations nationwide.
Start your morning slowly with freshly baked bread and coffee.
It’s the perfect place for people who want to spend a calm morning in harmony with nature right in the middle of the city.
