THE LIVELY TOKYO AZABUJUBAN : Spring Decor & Renewed Free Beer Menu (Mar. 9-)

On March 9, the second-floor lounge of THE LIVELY TOKYO AZABUJUBAN unveiled its new spring transformation. In a striking shift from the previous winter styling of withered grasses and cool-toned fairy lights, the space has been reborn. Now, vivid blossoms in shades of deep crimson and soft pink erupt against a chic, dark-toned interior, creating a bold and modern spectacle.

Data from the Japan Meteorological Agency marks Tokyo’s typical cherry blossom season in late March (last year’s began on the 24th). To celebrate this upcoming bloom early, the lounge features artificial “Tokiwa” and pale rose cherry blossoms. By weaving in azaleas and an eclectic mix of orchids, the installation moves away from the traditional image of a quiet, demure spring, embracing instead a vision of spring that is exuberant and full of life.

The contrast is captivating: brilliant flowers are scattered against the stark, industrial lines of exposed ceiling pipes and dark walls that evoke the surface of a midnight lake. It creates an atmosphere that is both beguiling and otherworldly—reminiscent of neon signs glowing in a decadent cityscape.

At the center of the lounge, the main installation features irregular, vine-like spirals of luminous tubing entwined with blossoms. From this core, fresh green leaves and unripened berries peek out, signaling a new beginning. We designed this styling to deliver a visceral impact the moment you enter, yet, as you linger, your spirit gradually begins to soften and dissolve into the space.

While spring décor often relies on predictable pastels, this installation stands apart from the ordinary. We invite you to step in and feel this unique energy—one charged with raw vigor and an uncompromising spirit.
Guided by our philosophy that “every visit brings new discoveries,” THE LIVELY TOKYO AZABUJUBAN refreshes its décor for the spring, summer, and winter seasons. We remain committed to evolving every day, striving to inspire not only our guests but everyone who walks through our doors.

Sakura & Peach: Limited Spring Cocktails in Our Newly Decorated Lounge

To celebrate this seasonal transformation, our daily Free Beer Service—held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the second-floor lounge—will feature a special limited-time menu. From March 14th for one month, guests can enjoy exclusive cocktails crafted with the delicate essence of cherry blossoms and peaches.

The Sakura Cocktail, a gin-based libation, offers a seamless transition of flavor. It marries the faint sweetness of cherry syrup with the crisp radiance of yuzu, lemon, and soda. Garnished with a single salt-preserved cherry blossom, the drink evolves in the glass; as the salt gradually dissolves, it releases a rich, almond-like aroma that lingers on the palate.

Conversely, the Peach Cocktail takes a more Japanese approach with a shochu base. A subtle hint of wasabi cuts through the inherent saccharine nature of the peach, while the earthy undertones of the shochu harmonize to create a profile startlingly reminiscent of a premature nectarine.
Both creations are available as non-alcoholic mocktails, ensuring that all guests can partake in the season’s charms. We invite you to step away from the mundane and immerse yourself in the hushed, mature serenity of our nocturnal spring. Additionally, our quintessential Free Beer Service selection—including beer, wine, sake, plum liquor, and yuzu liqueur—remains available throughout this period. We invite you to seize this moment to savor our exclusive seasonal offerings alongside the lounge’s newly reborn interior, creating a truly singular Happy Hour experience.
