[Event Report] Guests’ Favorite Things Turned into Hotel Plans! Unique Ideas Shined at ‘Explore LIVELY Meetup Vol.2’

This time, the event was a workshop where guests worked together to create exciting hotel plans.

At the entrance, guests received a special card.
When they held the card over their smartphone, the event schedule popped up on the screen.
This small touch made it feel like checking into a hotel, and everyone got excited.
The event began with a greeting from Sakamoto from the PR team of Global Agents, the company behind LIVELY HOTELS.
“Through this fan event, we want to get to know you better.
We’d love to hear what parts of LIVELY HOTELS you’re drawn to and what you want to learn more about.Please relax and enjoy today!”
Thanks to these welcoming words, the mood became light and friendly.

After some casual introductions, each guest shared keywords about themselves and personal stories from their stays at LIVELY HOTELS.

People talked about their hobbies like “idol fan activities,” “fitness training,” and “local mascots.”
Laughter and lively conversations filled the room.
Understanding the Brand: The Meaning Behind LIVELY HOTELS’ Concept

Next, Fujii from the PR team talked about LIVELY HOTELS’ concept:
“A place where you can update yourself.”
“We believe that small discoveries during a hotel stay can help you grow.
That’s why we aim to offer services that let guests experience an ‘update’ in their lives.”
A guest then asked:
“How do you come up with event ideas for LIVELY HOTELS?”
This led to a fun behind-the-scenes talk about how this event came to life.
The slash kawasaki staff also joined in the discussion by asking,
“How do you usually find out about events?”
The conversation became even more engaging with guest participation.
Room Tour: Reliving the Unique Hotel Stay Experiences

After getting to know the brand better, the guests went on a room tour at slash kawasaki.
They visited three themed rooms:
- The “Oshi-katsu Room,” decorated with balloons and garlands for idol fans
- The “Movie Theater Room,” perfect for watching concerts and movies on a big screen
- The “Party Room,” great for board games and fun with friends
Guests also checked out the guest-only terrace on the 10th floor.
Though the rooms are compact, guests were impressed by clever designs — like the reclining beds that create extra space underneath,
and the ability to order rental items through the in-room iPhone or your own smartphone.

Among the many rental items (over 200!), some are so popular they run out of stock.
These are used by guests of all ages and genders.
The “Oshi-katsu Room” got especially strong reactions.
The fact that staff can decorate the room in advance based on your request was a hit.
Guests said:
“This would be great for birthdays or anniversaries too!”
A staff member shared:
“Since this room is so popular, we’ve prepared a few decoration patterns that can appeal to everyone — not just idol fans.”

Workshop: Creating Hotel Plans Using Guests’ Favorite Things
After the tour, it was time for the main part of the event — the workshop!
Hoshino from slash kawasaki’s team shared tips for creating hotel plans.
“When we make a plan, we always keep ‘slash kawasaki style’ in mind.
Many of our guests are in their 20s, so we include elements that make people want to post on social media.We try to turn ideas from everyday conversations into real plans.”
Feeling inspired, guests started working on their own plans!

The theme was:
“Your Favorite Things × slash kawasaki’s Strengths”
Using the things they liked (which they had written down during introductions) and combining them with the hotel’s unique features,
each team brainstormed how to make a stay exciting and personal.

There were some struggles:
“It’s hard to match my favorite things with the hotel’s style…”
And some creative sparks:
“I came up with this idea — what do you think?”
After lively discussions, two teams presented a total of four original plans!
The final judge was Goto, the general manager of slash kawasaki, along with other staff.
All the ideas were unique.
Staff members commented:
“I never thought of this idea before!”
“This would pair well with our current menu.”


After serious discussion, the winning plan was one that used “Oshi-katsu” — a key theme of slash kawasaki.
The winning team received special slash kawasaki original T-shirts as prizes.

Finally, all participants received a gift set in a LIVELY HOTELS drawstring bag, and the event ended.

The guests left with smiles after experiencing a deeper connection to slash kawasaki and sharing their own exciting ideas.
LIVELY HOTELS will continue creating new experiences together with its users.

Through these events, we’ve had the chance to meet and connect with many LIVELY HOTELS fans.
Now, the third event “Explore LIVELY Meetup Vol.3” is happening at HOTEL GRAPHY SHIBUYA —
located in the heart of Tokyo’s culture scene.
This time’s theme is:
“The Future of Travel.”
It will be a roundtable-style talk, where staff and guests can chat casually.
