[Event Report] Celebrating 8 Years of The Millennials Kyoto ‘.andmix ∞ Traveler meets traveler’

Hello from The Millennials Kyoto!

Thanks to all of you, The Millennials Kyoto has celebrated its 8th anniversary!

We are truly filled with gratitude for the many guests who have stayed with us and supported us over the years.

To commemorate our 8th anniversary, on Friday, July 11, 2025, we held a special The Millennials Kyoto-style community event, .andmix “Traveling the World ∞ Traveler meets traveler,” where global travelers and nomads came together! In this article, we would like to share the highlights of the day.

Mini-games in the lounge for everyone to enjoy as a team!

We kicked off the event with fun games that everyone could join, such as “Passport Bingo” and a trivia quiz played in teams. Guests competed seriously yet cheerfully, and the lounge was filled with excitement and energy!

A dynamic fish-cutting show

Following last year’s popular live fish-cutting show by Kimura Fish Shop, this year’s program also included a live sushi-making performance by Sushi Lab by Sumaya. Guests were especially fascinated to witness the rare demonstration of preparing hamo (pike conger), something not often seen in everyday life. Many eagerly captured the moment on their smartphones!

In addition, in celebration of our 8th anniversary, we offered special treats such as staff-made takoyaki and a wide variety of drinks, which added to the festive mood.

We were delighted to welcome travelers, digital nomads, and guests from many different countries.

Throughout the event, participants naturally opened up to one another, creating the lively and warm atmosphere that The Millennials Kyoto is known for. It was especially memorable to see guests from diverse cultural backgrounds connecting so easily, making the event a truly multicultural exchange.

We were touched by the many happy comments we received, such as “I want to join again” and “It was so much fun!” These voices reminded us once again of the warmth of The Millennials Kyoto community.
