New Early Summer Cocktails at the Rooftop Terrace Bar

With the long winter finally behind us, spring has arrived in Sapporo, bringing a sense of excitement and openness.

Located on the 10th floor of our hotel, Bar Ignis Sapporo boasts a rare rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the refreshing new season. Our terrace also features a cozy bonfire, creating the perfect ambiance for sipping our newly introduced early summer cocktails.

The evening breeze is delightful this season. Why not toast to it with one of our limited-edition new cocktails around the bonfire?

This spring and summer, we’ve introduced eight new cocktails, each offering a unique and refreshing flavor. Here’s a glimpse of a few of them.

CHARCOAL LEMOUR SOUR

First up is a uniquely black cocktail with a refreshing lemon sour taste that defies its appearance! The secret to its striking color is bamboo charcoal powder. We use homemade lemon vodka and top it with lemon sorbet for an even fresher, more summery flavor. This cocktail is perfect for the upcoming season.

STRAWBERRY MARTINI

This one’s our number one hit! Especially beloved by our female guests, this cocktail features fresh, ripe strawberries, offering a luxurious blend of juice and pulp. The strawberries garnishing the drink are not only delicious but also make for a perfect Instagram photo opportunity. Additionally, we blend raspberries and grapefruit, resulting in a wonderfully fruity and refreshing taste.

SAKERO-NI

Finally, allow us to introduce our twist on the classic Negroni cocktail. Traditionally made with gin, here at UNWIND, we’ve substituted gin with Japanese sake for a sophisticated twist. Aptly named ‘Sakero-ni,’ this playful pun is derived from the word ‘sake,’ representing Japanese rice wine, and it’s a clever nod from our bartender. Please be mindful, as it boasts a higher alcohol content than your typical cocktail.
