slash Kawasaki will celebrate its fourth anniversary on November 1, 2023, and to mark the occasion, the hotel is offering a retro 80s “American diner” themed accommodation plan with room service from Wednesday, November 1 to Thursday, November 30. On Saturday, November 11, an 80s-themed event, “slash 4th Anniversary -Good old days!” will be held.

The hotel’s restaurant, slash cafe&bar Kawasaki, has been developing its food menu under the theme of an American diner since its opening, and in November, which marks its fourth anniversary, it will add a new menu of grilled honeymoon hot dogs and cherry cupcakes to its usual menu. For a limited time, we will be offering a room service package with room service decorated with retro and nostalgic packaging inspired by the American Diner of the 80s, including checker-block paper. The menu includes a grilled hot dog or one of three popular hamburgers, cupcakes and a drink. Why not enjoy a retro food menu while enjoying a film or show in your room on your projector? It’s like traveling back in time, offering a new pop-up accommodation experience.

On Saturday, November 11, the hotel will hold the “slash 4th Anniversary -Good old days!-” event!
The event will feature four 80s-themed contents: food, games, photo booth and art.
For food, a special menu inspired by an American diner will be newly introduced at the slash cafe&bar Kawasaki! As for games, nostalgic arcade and board games inspired by the 80s will appear and a bingo tournament is scheduled to be held, offering luxurious prizes such as tickets for free stay plans at slash Kawasaki. There will also be a retro photo booth with an 80s-inspired neon sign in the pavilion. Visitors can freely take photos and enjoy themselves. In the art section, goods using collaborative art created by illustrator Maeda Haruna will be on sale and canvas artworks will also be on display and for sale.
