Experience “Meet Local, Feel Global” — NEZU APERITIVO HOUR Has Begun!

Starting April 1st through the end of June, GRAPHY NEZU CAFE & LOUNGE — the café inside our hotel — is launching “NEZU APERITIVO HOUR,” a special program that brings together locals from the Nezu neighborhood and travelers from around the world through the Italian tradition of aperitivo.

Aperitivo — Italy’s beloved pre-dinner ritual.

The word comes from Italian, meaning “aperitif,” and the tradition was born in Milan. Typically enjoyed between 6 and 7 PM, it’s the custom of stopping by a bar for a light drink and a small bite before dinner — chatting, unwinding, and simply being with people. More than just food and drink, aperitivo represents something deeper: the art of making space for conversation and connection.

HOTEL GRAPHY NEZU is built around the concept of “meet local, feel global,” nurturing its café as a genuine gathering place within the quiet, old-town atmosphere of Nezu. With NEZU APERITIVO HOUR, we’ve layered the spirit of aperitivo with the essence of Nezu, the character of GRAPHY, and a touch of Japan — creating an experience during those golden evening hours where food, drinks, and the mood of the moment all come together. This is “meet local, feel global,” lived in real time.

Drink Menu

Four drinks make up the menu, all built around the warm orange tones of dusk.

Aperol is a liqueur born in Italy in 1919, long cherished as the go-to aperitivo drink. For NEZU APERITIVO HOUR, we’ve paired it with white wine, red wine, grapefruit juice, and orange juice respectively — four variations that highlight bright citrus aromas and a refreshingly light finish.

Orange Espresso (Non-alcoholic) — ¥650 (tax included)

A visually stunning two-layer drink that balances the sweetness of orange juice with the bitterness of espresso. The espresso is a HOTEL GRAPHY NEZU original blend crafted by SOL’S COFFEE, a specialty roaster based in Kuramae, Tokyo. Already a fan favorite on our regular menu — and a drink we’re genuinely proud of.

Food Menu

Amanatsu Cheesecake — ¥700 (tax included)

A dreamy combination of moist cheesecake, bright amanatsu citrus peel, and a crisp, buttery cookie crust. Light, refreshing, and just the right amount of indulgent.

Amanatsu & Pulled Pork Bruschetta (2 pieces) — ¥500 (tax included)

Sweet, savory, and perfectly balanced — this bruschetta brings together the brightness of amanatsu citrus and the richness of pulled pork. The baguette is from Bakery Miura, the same bread we serve at breakfast: crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy within.

Order a drink and a food item together from the NEZU APERITIVO HOUR menu and you’ll get ¥150 off your total. Both the cheesecake and bruschetta are also available during our free beer hour from 18:00 to 19:00 — they make the perfect pairing with a cold one.
