Crispy fried chicken and waffles with the addictive sweetness of butter syrup are very popular at this shop run by an American man named Cody and his wife Chihiro! You can choose your chicken tenders boneless or with bones and the waffles can be topped with blueberries, pecan nuts, whipped cream and other toppings.
What is the must-try combination?
A must-try combination when you come to Okinawa is the chicken and waffle set.
This American-born combination is very popular with Americans living in Okinawa, as well as with Okinawan locals.
You may think, “Isn’t it a bit too unhealthy?” but the crispy chicken and fluffy, light waffles are surprisingly easy to consume.
The chicken wings and macaroni and cheese on the side menu are also delicious!
The atmosphere of the restaurant gives you a sense of American culture and not only is the food delicious, but the interior is also stylish and appealing.

The restaurant has an American atmosphere with outstanding decorations. The inside of the shop is air-conditioned, which is great as it is very hot in Okinawa in the summer.
The owner, Cody, is friendly and speaks Japanese, so please say hi if you see him in the shop.
The staff is also friendly and helpful, making it a pleasant place to visit.
Take-out With a View of the Sea
If it’s not busy, you can order from the cashier and have your food in about 15 minutes.
On the other hand, during lunchtime on weekends and summer holidays, there can be a wait of an hour or more! The shop staff told us that 3 to 4 p.m. is when things settle down, so that would be a good time to visit.
We also recommend doing take-out and enjoying the food while admiring the ocean view in front of you.
