OLDENTIMES Pop-Up — A Celebration of Okinawan Street Culture
ESTINATE HOTEL NAHA recently hosted a limited-time pop-up shop featuring OLDENTIMES, a local apparel brand based in Sakurazaka, Okinawa. To mark the occasion, an opening event was held over two days — Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd — at ESTINATE LOUNGE NAHA. Hotel guests and locals alike came through, and the space was buzzing with energy throughout.

What is OLDENTIMES?
OLDENTIMES is an apparel brand rooted in Sakurazaka, Okinawa. Drawing inspiration from American casual wear, workwear, military, and street culture, the brand puts out a wide range of original pieces — from graphic tees with distinctive designs to shirts, headwear, accessories, and lifestyle goods, all crafted with their own signature patterns.
Known for collaborating with leading Okinawan companies across a variety of industries, OLDENTIMES has built a loyal following both locally and beyond, cementing its place as one of the brands shaping Okinawa’s cultural scene.
A Limited-Time Pop-Up at ESTINATE HOTEL NAHA
For this pop-up, ESTINATE HOTEL NAHA transformed into an immersive space where visitors could browse and touch OLDENTIMES’ popular items firsthand, getting a real feel for the brand’s world.
On both days of the event, a special silk-screen printing experience was offered exclusively for opening event attendees. Guests could choose any item they liked and have it printed on the spot in one of three colors — red, blue, or green. On the second day, gradient printing that blended colors together became a crowd favorite. Over the two days, 23 groups participated and a total of 29 pieces were created.
The OLDENTIMES team shared their excitement, saying they were genuinely surprised to see how much joy something they do as part of their everyday routine could bring to so many people.
Right in the middle of Golden Week, ESTINATE LOUNGE NAHA was filled with the OLDENTIMES logo, big smiles, and the kind of genuine local connection that makes a hotel event feel truly special.
DJ Performance by the ESTINATE Team
Throughout the event, DJ Suzu from the ESTINATE team kept the energy alive with a smooth, feel-good set. With local culture and music coming together, the lounge took on a vibrant atmosphere that made the whole experience even more memorable.
Event-Exclusive Food, Also a Hit
ESTINATE LOUNGE NAHA served up two event-only menu items: Chicken Over Rice and Burritos. Paired perfectly with the shopping and silk-screen experience, the food was a big hit with guests throughout both days.
