Originally a restaurant floor staff, Miku-san has recently been excelling not only in the restaurant rles but also as part of the front staff! We had the chance to ask Miku-san about her experience at THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI.
Q: What motivated or led you to work at THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI?
I chose to work at THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI because not only do we have many international guests, but also numerous staff members from abroad. I saw it as an opportunity to further improve my English. While working, there are moments of language exchange where we teach each other English and Japanese. Currently, we have staff who can speak not only Japanese and English but also Chinese, Italian, and French!
Also, I just loved the atmosphere at THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI.
Q: What is your most memorable experience at THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI?
Originally, I was a restaurant staff member, and during that time, there was a staff member struggling with English communication. When I took over and assisted them, they expressed their gratitude. Surpassing language barriers and receiving a heartfelt “Thank you!” from customers was incredibly rewarding and gave me confidence in my English proficiency.
Q: What is the biggest appeal of THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI?
In a positive sense, it’s the ability to work in my own style. THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI provides an environment where expressing one’s opinions and thoughts is easy. Additionally, whether you’re a part-time worker or a full-time employee, you can work in various capacities. The perk of working at THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI is being able to do a wide range of tasks based on your experiences and the ability to express what you want to do to grow in your career!
Q: Do you have a few words for interested part-time staff members?
