What is Bûche de Noël?
Bûche de Noël is a traditional Christmas cake from France, symbolizing the Yule log with its cylindrical shape. The surface is decorated to resemble a real log, with Christmas-themed decorations.
In France, Bûche de Noël is a beloved traditional sweet enjoyed on December 25th. It is usually homemade with many varieties. At HOTEL GRAPHY NEZU, our cafe staff will handcraft and offer two types: Red Berry and Chocolate Caramel.
Drinks:
- Hot Cocoa (500 yen) Winter calls for warm cocoa! This sweet cocoa warms both the body and soul, providing a relaxing break. It also has calming effects and can improve sensitivity to cold and reduce swelling.
- Hot Wine (650 yen) Unlike regular wine, hot wine is heated with spices such as fruits, sugar and cinnamon. It has a milder taste compared to typical wine and is recommended for those who want to enjoy a mature Christmas.
“Christmas MOVIE NIGHT” on December 23rd
HOTEL GRAPHY NEZU holds a Movie Night every third Saturday of the month. To embrace the holiday spirit, this month’s event will be on the fourth Saturday.
The location is the tatami space next to the entrance, complete with a kotatsu for warmth. This time, we will be screening “Love Actually.”
Synopsis of Love Actually:
Set in pre-Christmas London, various people, including a new Prime Minister, a housekeeper, a young couple and a rock star, experience the intertwining of love, joy and sorrow. As Christmas Eve approaches, delightful and heartwarming events unfold, woven together by each character.
