Morning Activity × Plogging! Join Us in Cleaning Up Shibuya while Jogging | May 12th (Sun)

Global Agents, the operating company of LIVELY HOTELS, launched the Social Good Neighbors (SGNs) project, which focuses on exchange-type rental properties called “Social Apartments”. The project will host a plogging event centered around HOTEL GRAPHY Shibuya!

Plogging is a new fitness trend where participants jog while picking up litter. The word “plogging” is a combination of the Swedish word “plocka upp” (pick up) and the English word “jogging”, and this activity has quickly spread worldwide, becoming a major trend enjoyed in over 100 countries. The more you do it, the cleaner both your body, mind, and the environment become, which is why it’s so popular. Interestingly, even before the term “plogging” existed, there were runners in Japan who picked up litter as they jogged.

Starting at HOTEL GRAPHY Shibuya and plogging around the Shibuya area, the event will conclude with participants enjoying special SGNs smoothies at the hotel while mingling and networking in the morning.

Anyone can join in! It’s an event where you can break a sweat and deepen connections with other participants. We look forward to your participation!

  • 9:30 Start plogging in Shibuya! It’s a refreshing way to start the day. Plus, you can interact with guests and Social Apartment residents.
  • 11:30 Cheers with Graphic’s special smoothies! Relax and take a break.

  • 12:00 Enjoy lunch at Graphic grill & bar! Indulge in modern American cuisine made with locally sourced vegetables and handcrafted care.
  • 13:30 Delight in the “EBISU Bloomin’ JAZZ GARDEN” at Ebisu Garden Place.
  • Enjoy gourmet food and beer, and have a leisurely evening.

  • The event will be canceled in case of rain. If canceled, notification will be sent to the email address provided during registration by 9:00 PM the day before. (The event will proceed in light rain.)
  • Photos may be taken during the event for press releases, website, social media, etc. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the staff in advance.
  • If you experience symptoms of fever or illness on the day of the event, please refrain from participating.

The Social Good Neighbors project aims to encourage individuals to engage in activities that contribute positively to society. Through various initiatives under the Social Apartment umbrella, the project encourages people to start making small positive changes together in an enjoyable way. One of the regular activities within SGN is litter picking. Living in a Social Apartment often provides more opportunities for residents to appreciate the charm of their neighborhood, leading many to want to keep their community clean. Therefore, we organize community litter picking events with residents, under the motto “Social Apartments make our neighborhoods cleaner.”
