奥日光の自然

Beyond the temples, another Nikko unfolds.

Nikko is known for its richly decorated World Heritage temples and shrines.
Travel beyond the city center, up the winding roads of Irohazaka, past Lake Chuzenji and the open wetlands of Senjogahara,
and the landscape begins to change. At the farthest reaches of Nikko lies Okunikko Yumoto —
a quiet hot spring area surrounded by lakes, wetlands, waterfalls, and deep forests.

Set within Nikko National Park, this protected highland region has preserved a sense of natural quiet and scenic beauty
that feels far removed from the city. Here, the air is clear, the seasons are vivid, and time seems to move at a different pace.
Exploring the nature around the hotel — walking by the lake, visiting waterfalls, or simply feeling the changing seasons —
is an essential part of the Okunikko experience.
